Wrap Roll It believes in staying true to their roots. Inspired by traditional Vietnamese recipes, they focus on using fresh produce to create delicious and affordable street eat treats served in their trendy food truck. Curious to try out our street food, Wrap Roll It also offers private catering! Wrap Roll It has two food trucks and started their journey in Richmond, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 3121.
The Challenge
Wrap Roll It were looking to upgrade their food truck decoration with some LED neon for greater visibility and to catch prospective customers' eyes. Wrap Roll It had initially purchased the Banh Mi sign and upon receiving positive feedback, decided that they wanted a large sign to go on top of their food truck
The Solution
Wrap Roll It began the design discussion with a specific idea in mind and had a clear vision for what they wanted. The proposed sign was achieved to great success and a stunning result. Wrap Roll It premiered their new LED neon signage whilst accommodating customers as part of the Lightworks outdoor exhibit in the Royal Botanical Gardens.
The Results
The final result was a fully-secured set of Black Lightboxes housing LED neon text and UV print "Roti Wraps/Steam Baos/Banh Mi Rolls/Loaded Fries" in Electric Blue, Deep Pink, Orange & Green and an LED neon text and UV print 'BANH MI" letters in Red, 'Banh Mi picture' UV-printed Orange, Green, Red and Lemon Yellow, with the small letters in Electric Blue.

The Customisations
Constructing and refining Wrap Roll It's larger LED neon sign was an engaging design puzzle. It was an exciting endeavour to complete. What made this LED neon sign unique was the visual impact of the LED neon text and UV-print on the black rectangular acrylic in the light boxes.
Here are the features that helped the LED neon signage stand out:
Vibrant Typography, Vivid Neon and Contrasting Containers: Each of the two LED neon signs utilise LED text & UV-print. The 'BANH MI" is lettered in Red, with the 'banh mi pic' in orange, green, red and lemon yellow, with small letters in electric blue and UV print - allowing for the solid image to be effectively contrasted with the wording.
The LED text & UV-print neon sign "Roti Wraps/Steam Baos/Banh Mi Rolls/Loaded Fries" light box in Electric blue, deep pink, orange & green is designed perfectly to standout on the roof of the food truck - attracting eyes and business with the colourful neon and tasty treats. The Acrylic Backing: The clear cut around acrylic panel shapes the Banh Mi and the black rectangular acrylic gives a dynamic finish to the light boxes - ensuring high visibility.
